Cantine Valpane
The Cantine Valpane business is situated in the heart of the Monferrato region in a typ[ical Piedmont farmhouse with courtyard dating from the 1700s and since the beginning of the last century it has been owned by the Arditi family.
Old maps and documents kept in the family archive show that the farm has always had a fine reputation for winemaking. In 1898 its wines won gold medals at fairs at Bordeaux and Dijon. The family house faces onto the courtyard and there is a small clocktower, porticos, the old stable and the farmhouse itself. In the recently restored cellars there is a small museum showing winemaking tools and equipment from the past. The farm is still family run.
